About Us
Welcome to our small, family-run kennel located in a serene farming community in Western Massachusetts. We co-breed with Breckin Labradors, run by Gretchen Boss, who became a dear friend over a decade ago, when we co-owned our now-retired girl, Viva. Together, we strive for breed preservation and advancement, driven by our deep love for the versatility of Labrador Retrievers and how they perfectly complement our active, outdoor lifestyle. Our dogs enjoy seasonal swimming at our family’s cottage on Otis Reservoir in the Berkshires.
Our History
Our journey began in 2011 when we welcomed our first Labrador Retriever, Cody. Cody introduced us to the true love of the breed, and with him, we became active in obedience and rally. Our involvement in a local obedience school as an assistant trainer, led us to join the Labrador Retriever Club of the Pioneer Valley (LRCPV), where we met Gretchen Boss. This meeting marked the beginning of a long-lasting friendship and collaboration in breeding exceptional Labradors.
AKC Participation
We are proud to be active members of the Labrador Retriever Club of the Pioneer Valley and the parent club LRC, Inc. Over the years, we have successfully competed in obedience, rally obedience, conformation, and hunt trials.
We believe that our commitment to these activities reflects our dedication to maintaining and enhancing the qualities of the breed through careful selection and training.
Commitment to Health
Our passion lies in producing and raising healthy puppies that can become cherished members of your family. Each breeding and litter is thoughtfully planned, and our puppies are raised in our home for the entire 8 weeks. During this time, they are exposed to the day-to-day life of our household to ensure they are well-socialized. Our family, including our young son, plays an integral role in raising the puppies, and they also see many visitors, which helps prepare them for their new families. We breed with the intent to keep a puppy or two from each litter for our next generation. All dogs in our breeding program undergo rigorous health clearances, including OFA hip and elbow evaluations, cardiac assessments, annual eye exams, and comprehensive genetic testing for HNPK, PRA, EIC, and CNM.

We are active members of the Labrador Retriever Club of the Pioneer Valley and the parent club LRC, Inc. These affiliations allow us to stay connected with the broader Labrador Retriever community, participate in events, and continually learn and grow as breeders. Our commitment to these clubs underscores our dedication to the breed and our desire to contribute positively to its future.
